MAYO Communications, an award-winning
full service entertainment PR firm in Los Angeles,
has been hired by Silver To Rust Productions, 
Pasadena, Calif., to promote its debut film, 
Catharsis.  

The film will be premiered at the NewFilmmakers
NY Festival, September 2, 2008, in New York City
at Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Avenue, 
New York, NY 10009, 212-505-5110).


		
		
		
“We are thrilled with the opportunity
to present this film to the public,” said
Executive Producer David Joshua Smith,
Silver to Rust Productions. 

“There will be a lot of independent
filmmakers like myself attending.”

The 11-minute film, Catharsis will be
screened at 6:00 p.m. at an event
called NewFilmmakers presents
another night at the movies in 
New York. 

It was written, directed and produced
by David Joshua Smith. It stars
Will Lupardus, Tara Battani and
Ashley R. Brooks.  The director
of photography is Randy Arnold.
